Dr. Daniel Baik
Dr. Daniel Baik is an accomplished and experienced Gastroenterologist and an integral part of our team at Gastroenterology Associates of Central Jersey.
Dr. Baik completed his medical education at Jefferson Medical College, followed by residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. Further expanding his expertise, Dr. Baik also completed an advanced interventional endoscopy fellowship at Indiana University Hospital, honing his skills in intricate gastrointestinal procedures and cutting-edge techniques.
In addition to his role in our practice, Dr. Baik holds the prestigious position of Assistant Professor of Medicine at Cooper Medical School at Rowan University, where he serves as an interventional gastroenterologist. This appointment speaks volumes about his expertise and the respect he commands in the medical community. It is worth noting that Cooper Medical School was recently ranked as the top medical school in New Jersey and among the top 50 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
Besides his proficiency in colorectal cancer screening, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and other common gastrointestinal disorders, he demonstrates a particular passion for patients afflicted with swallowing disorders such as achalasia, along with diseases affecting the pancreas and bile ducts. Moreover, he is deeply enthusiastic about employing minimally invasive, endoscopic approaches to address a wide range of GI conditions, and specifically specializes in removing large colon polyps.
With a genuine passion for his field and a warm-hearted approach to patient care, Dr. Baik continues to uphold the legacy of his father while making meaningful contributions to the well-being of those he serves.
