Katie Muldoon is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in gastroenterology at Gastroenterology Associates of Central Jersey. With 15 years of dedicated healthcare experience, Katie brings a rich background to our team, offering both expert clinical knowledge and a deeply compassionate approach to patient care.

A significant portion of Katie's career, nearly a decade, was spent at the prestigious Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she honed her skills in specialized GI and oncology nursing. This extensive experience has provided her with a profound understanding of complex digestive conditions and a unique perspective on the patient journey, enabling her to provide truly empathetic and comprehensive support.

Katie earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University, demonstrating remarkable dedication by completing her graduate studies at the top of her class while working full-time and raising her four young children.

At GACJ, Katie is an integral part of our collaborative care team, partnering closely with Dr. Daniel Baik. She provides thorough evaluations, manages a wide range of common and chronic GI conditions during office visits, and plays a key role in ensuring patients have timely access to care. Her focus includes a special interest in obesity medicine and its impact on digestive health, offering services such as weight loss medication management and nutrition counseling as part of a holistic approach to overall well-being.
